Books

Books are the wonders of the world.
Like diamonds sparkling in the caves,
Like the beaches ever so pearled From fantasy and made up fiction,
From kings and queens to the golden heir,
There are no limits or restrictions.
Different emotions and different feelings,
During someone's saddened loss,
Through darkness and despair for human beings,
Like wood decaying on the ground Buried in the library so deep,
Or thrown away in a jumbled heap.
As bright as day,
As dark as night,
Books are as bright as light.
Like diamonds sparkling in the caves,
Like the beaches ever so pearled From fantasy and made up fiction,
From kings and queens to the golden heir,
There are no limits or restrictions.
Different emotions and different feelings,
During someone's saddened loss,
Through darkness and despair for human beings,
Like wood decaying on the ground Buried in the library so deep,
Or thrown away in a jumbled heap.
As bright as day,
As dark as night,
Books are as bright as light.
