All Because of the Pie

One warm evening, I was on a hill, and I could feel the crisp air flowing as I was eating grass. The pink and orange sky hovered above me, and stars were just beginning to twinkle. Oh, by the way, I can eat grass because I am a cow. If you are not a cow, I highly advise you not to eat grass. Anyways, I was peacefully eating the grass and watching the sky speckled with stars until- PLOP. Avery appetizing pie fell to the ground in front of me. It was just sitting there, waiting to be eaten. I wondered what a
pie would taste like. So I took a bite, then two, then three, then four. I felt like I was in another world! The chewy crust was so crispy, and with the soft, gooey filling it was the perfect duet! I longed to have more.
Just then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw birds grasping pie falling
from the sky. There had to be at least a dozen! I hopped, jumped, whatever I could! But I just couldn't reach it! I had no choice but to quit. Ashamed, I sat, leaning on a rock. I wondered and dreamt about pie. Just eating it one more time would be amazing! But I knew that would never happen. How does a cow fly? They don't even have wings! Wondering, I fell asleep dreaming.
In my dreams, I saw myself with wings, eating pie. I took this as a
vision of the future. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an idea popped into my
head. It was simple, just like a math problem. Cow + Wings =Flying Cow! If
I just had wings, I could fly and eat all the pie in the sky! But where to find wings, I didn't know. Well, I guess whenever you humans need something, you go to Costco or Trader Joe's, but cows don't have Costco OR Trader Joe's. AHA! We don't have Costco, but we do have Cowstco & Trader Moo's! I'm a genius! So here we go, into Cowstco!
Just then, I awoke from my sleep. I knew where I had to go. So why not go there now? It was a bright cloudless day, and I sensed that today would be the day I flew.
So my human friend, where do you think we are? Welp, no matter what you said, we're in Cowstco! So I walked down aisle number thirty-nine, and guess what? There they were! My precious wings! This would be as easy as cake! Actually, not cake, pie. Either way, it would be easy. So I grabbed a pair of wings, dreaming of flying.
What? Are you asking how many dollars ti was?? Cows are too smart ot have dollars! We have MOOlah, not dollars. Actually, thank you for reminding me. It's . . . 4 MOOlah! I have only 3 MOOlah! Just one more MOOlah! Arrrrrgh! You know what, I'm just going to steal it. So I crept slowly and tried to get out of the building.
"Attention, fellow cows. A robbery has occurred in aisle thirty-nine. Repeating, in aisle thirty-nine. If you find the robber, please come to the front desk for a reward of 100 MOOlah. Thank you." That was the loudspeaker, and it doesn't sound like a good sign.
It isn't fair! I was just ONE MOOlah of, and it's a reward for 100 MOOlah? Ugh! But then, I realized it wasn't the right decision to take the wings without permission. So I returned the wings to aisle thirty-nine. But I was still one MOOlah of! Because of that, I went to the grassy hill and ran a sMOOthie stand.
"SMOOthies! Get your fresh cold sMOOthies here! sMOOthies for only half a MOOlah! sMOOthies!" I yelled. Soon, a cow came up and said, "Mister, are these sMOOthies half a MOOlah?"
"Yes," I said. "They're half a MOOlah each."
"I'Il buy it," said the cow. Soon, the word of my delicious sMOOthies spread. There was a whole line of cows!
Now that I had more MOOlah, I went back to Cowstco and bought my wings! Oh, those precious, precious wings! I finally had them! Now I just had to go somewhere to try them out.
So I went to a cliff, the perfect place to fly! So I sprinted, as hard as I could and leaped! I did it! I'm fl-AGGHHHHHHH! Suddenly, wind blew toward my face, and I was falling
down
down
down.

BOING! I landed and bounced and bounced and bounced. The same thing happened in try two, three, and five hundred eighty-four. I just couldn't do it! CRACK! The wings, not meant for real flying, but for decoration, split in half.
I needed wings, real wings, in order to fly. I would have to find them
for myself. I looked around. Al that was around were a pond with reeds,
and a bunch of boulders. Wait.. REEDS! I could weave them and make my own wings! If I did, and if I made them high quality, that would mean I could fly! So I got started on weaving. It was difficult, but I did it. I could finally fly and eat all the pie! So I weaved and weaved and kept weaving, and soon, I had homemade wings, ready to go!
So I went back to that cliff and ran as hard as I could. I hopped up and dove like a falcon! The only difference was, a falcon can fly, and I just couldn't! Why was this happening? If you try your best, you're supposed to succeed! Blood rushed to my head. Why couldn't I?? I started to have a headache. I knew this wasn't my destiny. I knew I was going to fly. Just why couldn't I? Why? I didn't know what to do at this moment, but sometimes it takes
a
leap
of
faith.
I dashed, and dashed, and dashed. Time seemed to slow down. I
saw myself leap out of the cliff. I flinched, thinking I would fall down again. Thinking I would fail. Thinking I would go to the bottom. But I just kept climbing. I believed in myself. And when I did, I saw wings sprouting out of me.
This was my moment of pride. An explosion seemed to burst out of me. It roared like a lion being unleashed, and it was as brave as one too! I saw my feet going up, up, up. The ground was getting farther away. My fears melted away. I didn't know how it happened, but I wasn't afraid! This was the day of my life. The day of my story. The day of my victory! I saw clouds pass, and birds too! I was one with the sky, dancing along with the wind! It was happening! I was flying! I twirled and flipped, and did backward somersaults! It was like a dream!
And then my time came. It was my chance! A pie came down, down, down. Its filling looked so gooey, and its crust seemed like it was so chewy! And it fell down
down
into
my
mouth.
Joy overflowed inside me! It was finally here! My moment! My pie! It was so tasty with the sweet, soft blueberry and the thick, chewy crust! And then I learned how this all happened. It was all because of the pie.
