Amidst a Vernal Night

And as azure faded to darkened blue

The ether glittered with cosmic dust.

And as a thousand stars are born anew

A thousand burn away to stellar dust.

As celestial dominions decay

Ageless constellations start to wander.

And as the heads of Hydra burn away

The cosmos eternally stray yonder.

And as nights of spring forever march on

Lone cosmic dust remains on the last dawn.
