Among Us
James Jackson Jr
Today is 2-22-2060. I was in the middle of doing my math test, when to my surprise Elon Musk pulled me out of school to play a game of "Among Us" in real life. Elon gave me a meeting point and told me to make my way over there. It was raining really hard outside, so I went under the overhang, and called an Uber. One hour later the Uber didn't come, "Fine I'll just take my bike," I said. When I got there Elon told me that I should wear this gold space suit. Also he said that the color of your suit is the name that the other players will call you. Then he told me to get into the rocket, so I did. It only took one hour to get out of the atmosphere. The stars were as bright as the strongest flashlight in the world!
Pause! Before we start I'm going to tell you how the game works: All the players are known as crewmates. Among us there is an imposter that tries to put the other players to sleep until there are only three players left, and the game ends. Or the game can also end if the imposter is caught by the crewmates, before only three players are left. The best part of when the imposter is caught, is when the crewmates try to catch the imposter in a meeting. However, it is a vote among all the crewmates, so we might not agree with each other. Also throughout the game, all the crewmates have five tasks and the imposter has only one task, which is to put all the other players to sleep with their powers for one hour.
Now let the game begin...
Finally, we landed on the moon. I walk into this huge space station, it leads me to a waiting room with all these other players. There were Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, White, Black, Brown, Silver, and me, Gold. "One minute until the game starts!" said the speaker. One minute later, we were all spawned in the meeting room as our starting point.
We were all assigned our tasks. As we were trying to begin our tasks, a word popped up on our masks. My mask had the word "crewmate," and that is great, because I don't have to put anyone to sleep. Then when I turned around I saw Black chase after White. I tried to follow them, but when they stopped I saw Black put White to sleep. I ran as fast as I could to the meeting room, and called the meeting. I voted for Black and everyone else skipped, probably because the game just started at around eleven minutes and thirty-one point four seconds ago; and no one else saw Black put White to sleep.
Then when everyone turned around, I saw Black chase after Orange! At that moment in time I had an idea. It was to chase after Black into a big crowd of people right before Black puts Orange to sleep. But you're probably thinking, "Can't Black just turn around, and put you to sleep?" You're right, but that is a risk that I am going to take. And so, I started chasing Black, when Black was chasing after Orange, and I ran them straight toward the big crowd up ahead. Then Black put Orange to sleep in front of a big crowd. Right after that I saw Red running to call the meeting. When the meeting was called everyone voted out Black, and Black was sent home. As a result, all the crewmates won and received one million dollars each! Then I realized that I was sleeping in class, it was all a dream and I failed my math test.
The End.
