Basketball, The Sport of Kings
Vedant Chandra
The sport of basketball, the joy it brings,
The one true sport that is fit for kings.
Whether it's dropping a dime
Or drilling a three
Basketball is the sport for me.
Our game, it's at home, we hold down the fort,
As I dribble the ball straight down the court.
My heart, it beats heavy,
My face, it's quite sweaty.
I fire a shot, there is no turning back.
My team, there for me, like wolves in a pack.
The shot it's a swish.
I turn around, I pump my fist.
Our team, up by one,
There's 30 seconds left, the game almost done.
We have to play lock-down, to get us a stop,
They put up a shot.
Game.
54 us -53 them.
