Dear Frog

Dear Frog
My grandma used to tell me a story
About a frog in a well
Convinced the sky was a round cutout,
Two clouds & a fragile disk of blue,
Merely a hat for the darkness
A lid, a blockage
But then he met a crow
Who spoke of a thousand acres
He jumped onto its wing
And they soared out of the well
A door, an opening
A sheet of paper
Folded fifty times
Is two thirds to the sun
An explosion of stars
Fireworks rocket through claps
Flamenco dancers twirl with
Flame-red wings
Dear frog,
Life is so much more than you know
Love me,
Your crow
