Death's Proclamation to Humanity
Avni Desai
Said in December 2019
I am the Death with evil intentions.
I am disguised in the stars of the night.
All of humanity gives me attention,
For when I come, they transform into fright.
But never had I been met with questions.
I never had been considered a Sprite.
Disposing of violence was my mission;
I made the span of suffering finite.
I gave humanity the power to mature,
But all humanity caused my downfall.
Forever will my glory be avenged;
My immortality will be secure.
My wicked thirst is now my alcohol.
Oh! They will be unready for my revenge!
I am the Death with evil intentions.
I am disguised in the stars of the night.
All of humanity gives me attention,
For when I come, they transform into fright.
But never had I been met with questions.
I never had been considered a Sprite.
Disposing of violence was my mission;
I made the span of suffering finite.
I gave humanity the power to mature,
But all humanity caused my downfall.
Forever will my glory be avenged;
My immortality will be secure.
My wicked thirst is now my alcohol.
Oh! They will be unready for my revenge!
