Dreams

I love dreams;

dreams help us grow,

dreams help us focus.

I want a dreamcatcher;

to filter my dreams.

I found myself in a room

with no friends and family.

I get some food near the door,

I hear some sounds far away.

No one to play or sing.

I want a dreamcatcher,

I know it's a dream.

I want to go back to my older days

with good dreams and friends to play with.

Opened my eyes,

looked around,

still, no one there.

I realized,

It's not a dream.

I am in isolation

Not infected, still, isolation.

I beg, dear God,

Save all of us from this bad reality.

We want our past days,

school, church, and gatherings.

Babies can't crawl out of their home,

elders can't walk out of their room,

students can't go into their schools...

Yes, I am ready,

to spread light,

to spread awareness,

to spread smiles.

This is not the end of the world.

I can stand and wear a mask.

I can talk to my friends to do that.

We can dream more,

we can fly high,

we can conquer the world.

Hold your hands,

together, together and together

with love, support, and care.
