"So, what did you do this weekend?" asks Jayla. The two of them are walking to school, and it's a beautiful day. "Well" says Finn. "That's a really long story." "I want to hear it." Jayla says. "Well, if you say so..." Finn says. 

"It all began Saturday morning, while I was out for a little stroll." Finn began. "I was walking past the museum when I noticed some dark figures getting out of a car. It was early, so I couldn't see what they looked like. They were wearing these black jumpsuits, and they walked very stiffly, as if they had tissues under their clothes." He paused to cross the street. "Anyway, they got out of the car, and did their stiff walk into the museum. I was suspicious, so I went in to follow them. Once they got inside, they took off their jumpsuits, and you won't believe it -- they were mummies!" He said so loudly that some high schoolers walking by looked at them. "You're lying" said Jayla. "Nu uh" Finn continued. "They went in, turning their mummified heads as if looking for something." He paused again to cross the street. "Then, one of them said something. To me it just sounded like gibberish, but it obviously didn't to the rest of them. They all walked over to him and started to grab at something. Meanwhile, I saw something glowing in the car. So I went to look, and I found an ancient Egyptian Katana! I grabbed it and, being very careful, walked over to the doors. The mummies were now holding something and passing it among themselves. I thought about calling Jayla, my friend--" "Hey that's me! I didn't know I'm in the story!" interrupted Jayla  "Yeah, of course, now back to the story. I thought she wouldn't get there in time. So I silently opened the door, crept up behind one of them, and sliced the Katana through the air. It was surprisingly light, it felt like an extension of my arm. I accidentally split a tomb in half, but after that, they actually fled! Right out the door, into the car. I missed the license plate, but I heard sirens wailing, so they must have alerted the police somehow. I dropped the Katana, and walked over to where the mummies had been standing. There was this weird, glowing rock. So I pocketed it and went home. The end." "You what!?!" Jayla asked. "What?" Said Finn "Was I supposed to throw it out? Anyway, that's only Saturday. Wait till you hear what happened on Sunday..." 

"Wait, what happened Sunday?" Jayla asks. "This time I'm going to go quickly, ‘cause we're almost at school,"says Finn. "I'm fine with that" Jayla says. "Well, it all started Sunday morning. I was at the park, and it was a nice day. There were a surprising amount of people there. But that's not even the weird part. Just as I was about to leave, there was this humming noise, and I looked up. You won't believe what I saw..." He paused for dramatic effect. "I saw... an alien ship! It was huge! But then, this beam of light came down from a hole in the ship, just like in movies." They crossed the street. "The beam picked up a little girl, and my fast reflexes kicked in. I sprinted toward the beam of light and dove in. As I suspected, it carried me up and into the ship. The last thing I saw was chaos. My parents were screaming for help, people running in every direction. In a way, I was glad to get away from that. But I had more pressing matters. I looked around and saw five great big aliens; all green, weirdly shaped heads, and antennae. I saw them grab the girl and take her away. So I thought fast. Behind the aliens, there was a big monitor that showed outside the ship, and a steering wheel under it with two pedals. I raced over as the aliens lumbered after me. I jumped into the chair and pressed hard on one of the pedals, but nothing happened. I pushed the other one, and then we rocketed forward. The aliens flew backward, but I was in the seat. I pressed the autopilot button, and I quickly ran to the hallway where I'd seen the aliens take the girl. I ran through an open door, and saw the girl laying on a bed. She wasn't moving, but she was breathing. I grabbed her and hauled her over my shoulder, then I ran back into the main part of the ship. I saw the aliens out of the corner of my eye, but I just ran to the hole and jumped." Jayla gasped. "So, what happened?" She asked "We fell onto a beach, found somebody with a phone. I called my parents and they picked us up. The End" he said. "Did this really happen?" Jayla asks. "Mostly..."
