Goodbye and see you again

If there was a season in life, mine started with winter.
Shouting, arguing, and crying all the time, I was always an easy target by angry faces.
A lonely, depressed, and crouching down
That was my childhood.
You brought me, for the first time, a warm spring breeze.
Without a doubt, I started to walk toward you.
Your warm and kind heart made my ice melt to love myself.
You were much more than I prayed for.
The family was our whole value.
We respected one another and enjoyed being together.
The great value we learned was, understanding and accepting our differences.
That was our shiny summer as we grew together.
As a couple of empty nesters, walking side by side holding hands became our new hobby.
How much I'd love to see you laugh and to listen to your voice!
Every moment was quiet and peaceful while our shadows fell in the autumn sunset.
As life goes, there must be the moment to say goodbye to you. Is this again a frozen winter for me?
Because of you I know, I will be strong enough to stand up by myself this time.
My prayer to you saying goodbye,
"Thank you for being my beloved husband."
"Thank you for letting me know I am worthy of who I am."
"Goodbye and see you again."
"Next time, I will be there for you."
