Jasmine Whispers: A Passage of Time
Sonali Patodia
The sweet, deep scent of jasmine blooms,
On this warm spring day, it looms.
Romancing my nose as I inhale,
Must I exhale? Ah well!
Reminiscing of days when we were little,
And life's riddles not so many
The days got older, so did we,
Yet the fragrance remains,
Youthful, vibrant, and carefree.
If only with words, I could reveal,
The magic its aroma can wield.
To capture in verse, I pine,
This jasmine's scent, so sublime,
A whisper of dreams, a passage of time.
