We met one day long ago 
A coincidence, perhaps. 
Our fate and destiny were woven together, 
A bond forged 
Through trouble and mayhem. 
Words spoken to only one soul, 
Secrets that shall never be told. 
The closer we grow 
The stronger its hold. 
 
Years go by 
Frozen together 
Never to leave one's side. 
Warmed through ambition and hope, 
Frost will burn, but never felt. 
The bite will scar and stain. 
We'll thaw together  
Here in this room. 
 
Our hearts will beat as one 
Like some lovers do. 
Heavy our soul, 
Weighs down our bones. 
Washed away our blood 
In tear-stained shirts. 
Your heart will beat with me for eternity. 
Stuck in this hole we've dug for ourselves 
So many years ago. 
Trapped with no light, 
With no love to ignite. 
Frozen with no salvation. 
Hidden completely from sight,  
In the darkness, we hold tight. 
Eventually, one will run cold, 
Crystals will fall as the world stops spinning. 
Screams can be heard if you listen closely. 
The soul will shatter 
Never to be pieced back together. 
The heart now is truly the only one left. 
 
Alone is the only thing felt 
No relief will come 
Until the day is over, 
But some days seem to go on forev
