Squibble in the Big City

Squibble the octopus decided to take a trip. He thought he deserved a vacation.
All his life, Squibble wanted to go to the city. He heard of the tall, tall buildings, the bright, colorful lights, and all the fun rides at the amusement park.
His family was scared. "Don't go to that place!" They cried, "it is nicer and safer in the reef."
But Squibble was very, very stubborn. He did not listen. "I want to explore!" He said.
The next day, the little blue octopus swam to the shore. "Wow! Look at those tall buildings!" He gasped.
He ambled through the street and looked at the bright lights. Cars roared loudly down the road. People hurried up and down the sidewalk.
Squibble suddenly felt a little lonely. He knew that in the reef it was warm and safe with his family.
But then Squibble turned to see a large Ferris wheel. "Oh yes!" He clapped his tentacles happily, "That will be fun!"
Squibble hurried over to the park, and soon he got onto the bright red Ferris wheel. He was excited.
"Wheee!" Squibble felt the wheel turn, and he was slowly lifted high into the air, far above the buildings below. What a view!
Suddenly, a huge, hungry seagull flew down and grabbed Squibble from his seat. He wanted to eat him as a snack! Now Squibble was scared. He wished that he had stayed at home in the sea. There, he would have been safe!
Squibble wiggled and jiggled until he slipped out of the bird's grasp. He fell way, way down, until, "Plop!" he landed with a splash back into the ocean. Squibble was back home in his reef!
"There you are!" Said his family.
Squibble gave them a big hug.
"Now I know that you are right," he said, "a little octopus does not belong in the big city!"
