The space in between
Michael R James
The space in between
The liminal spaces
With many gray traces
Give way to the dark
In many of places
The place in between
Is the place of becoming
The black and the white
Light whirring and humming
The noumenal is liminal
For it's a thought not a thing
It is nothing physical, rather the space in between
In the coldest of winter
The darkest of night
What appeared
Was a glimmer
Of promethean light
Thoughts like a ghost
Are translucent, a fog
They come from the dark
Light shed on unseen
It is the unknown, yes the space in between
The liminal spaces
With many gray traces
Give way to the dark
In many of places
The place in between
Is the place of becoming
The black and the white
Light whirring and humming
The noumenal is liminal
For it's a thought not a thing
It is nothing physical, rather the space in between
In the coldest of winter
The darkest of night
What appeared
Was a glimmer
Of promethean light
Thoughts like a ghost
Are translucent, a fog
They come from the dark
Light shed on unseen
It is the unknown, yes the space in between
