The Way
Lucy Goder
The Way
The way the songbird sings
The way the lion roars
The way the ocean rushes
The wolves that hunt the boars
The way the sky will love
The way the wind bellows
The way the sun will cheer to all
The little robin fellows
The way the trees bring
The way the branches hang
The way the spinning world
The way love comes and sang
The caves that which the bears
The way they live in deep
The way a fox will wake
From everlasting sleep
The way the flowers bloom
The green that flows inside
All pale in comparison
To the jaguar's spotted hide
The way we fill with sorrow
The way we jump to sky
The way our heart will sing
The way our heart will try
The way the songbird sings
The way the lion roars
The way the ocean rushes
The wolves that hunt the boars
The way the sky will love
The way the wind bellows
The way the sun will cheer to all
The little robin fellows
The way the trees bring
The way the branches hang
The way the spinning world
The way love comes and sang
The caves that which the bears
The way they live in deep
The way a fox will wake
From everlasting sleep
The way the flowers bloom
The green that flows inside
All pale in comparison
To the jaguar's spotted hide
The way we fill with sorrow
The way we jump to sky
The way our heart will sing
The way our heart will try
