The Wings of Freedom
Kashish Dasot
The Wings of Freedom
Walking through the gardens, smelling the flowers, laying in the grass,
All these simple things, each a blessing
For freedom does not come lightly
But when it does come,
The sweet pleasure of saying no,
The happiness in making decisions,
Can make anyone feel delighted
Feeling free as a bird, soaring through the air, charting my own possibilities
I have a choice
I have a right
I have freedom
My will was trapped in a cage, but now it flies free
Singing about my freedom, it is in my blood
All the little things
All the big decisions
I have a choice
I have a right
I have freedom
Walking through the gardens, smelling the flowers, laying in the grass,
All these simple things, each a blessing
For freedom does not come lightly
But when it does come,
The sweet pleasure of saying no,
The happiness in making decisions,
Can make anyone feel delighted
Feeling free as a bird, soaring through the air, charting my own possibilities
I have a choice
I have a right
I have freedom
My will was trapped in a cage, but now it flies free
Singing about my freedom, it is in my blood
All the little things
All the big decisions
I have a choice
I have a right
I have freedom
