Things I Learned This Year 
 
Resin is not liquid amber, 
but amber is hard resin 
 
It's hard to be happy someone came back 
if you had a good time when they were gone. 
 
Leopards don't have spots, 
they have rosettes. 
Cheetahs don't have rosettes, 
they have spots. 
Panthers have rosettes, 
even though they are midnight dark. 
 
Bacteria don't live long under cold conditions, 
but rather die and get replaced by other ones. 
 
Physical Education was made uniquely to punish kids 
when they are rowdy in class. 
 
When you're angry, 
you don't see red, 
but you feel red 
 
Even when you learn stuff, 
you feel like your head is empty.
