Oh America, your lethargy makes you unwell
A killer lurks within your borders, a disease of the brain
The average size M is now a triple XL
Your fast food and sodas are casting a spell
Each day you indulge in added sugars and ten servings of grain
The average size M is now a triple XL
I implore you to lift dumbbells, barbells, or a kettlebell
It does not matter, but somehow, you must train
The average size M is now a triple XL
Or else, your arteries will clog with fat cells
That path will only get dimmer, each step filled with pain
The average size M is now a triple XL
Oh America, those processed brands you must dispel
The obesity epidemic is now clear and plain
For your health, better diets and exercise, you must compel
That is to say, your apathy is making you unwell
Rise up, America, this is the start of your campaign
Promise megm you'll heed my villanelle
For the average size M is now a triple XL
Oh America, your lethargy makes you unwell
A killer lurks within your borders, a disease of the brain
The average size M is now a triple XL
